Imperialism in the Middle East

What do you know about imperialism in the Middle East? Many political commentators have claimed that radical movements in the region, as well as the regimes of rulers such as the late Saddam Hussein, have had causes dated back to the earliest years of Western imperialism. Do you agree or disagree? Equally (or more?) importantly, do you possess the basic background knowledge necessary for forming an educated opinion? Try playing this fun interactive hangman game on imperialism in the Middle East to find out.

Are you interested in taking a daily quiz? We are on Twitter at free study games. Each day we post a random educational game link. If you have good internet on your phone (like an iPhone or a droid), there's no problem playing these games or taking these practice tests on your cell. The games and tests are not at pace with any particular course, nor are they specific to a course. One day you'll be quizzed on the French Revolution, and the next day you'll be quizzed on fractions. The logic behind this is the educational belief that repeated exposure to material, along with a good jumbling of content, enhances long-term memory retention and comprehension. Sure, you remember that Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo the day of the test. But can you recall this information a month later? For most people, the answer is no. Repeatedly exposing yourself to this information will build the kind of long-term retention that you need to succeed in high school and beyond. Don't get stuck having to take an intensive prep course for the Regents, proficiency test, ACT, SAT, GRE, etc. Do a five- or ten-minute quiz game once a day, and you'll easily be prepared for any of these tests.
